Davis Regional Tournament - U14 Official Schedule
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

THE WINNING COACH is responsible for bringing the game card to
the AYSO Building at Community Park immediately after the game.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do this promptly!
·
Please check the TOURNAMENT RULES for information on how points
are assigned based on the results of your games. This
tournament will use the “Davis Regional Tournament Rules”.
·
ALL RESULTS will be posted at the AYSO building at Community Park.
Please be patient, it may take time to get the results posted,
as we have to get all of the results from a particular round before
any can be posted.

GAME LENGTHS: In U14 all games in brackets and quarterfinals have
two 20 minute halves (with a quarter break) unless otherwise noted
in the schedule. Semifinals, Consolation and Championship games
are regulation length.
·
If a semifinal, consolation or final game is tied at the end of
regulation time, two 5-minute overtime periods will be played,
with teams switching directions for the second period. If the
game is still tied, it will be settled by a FIFA-style shootout
(PK's). Note that this is a FIFA law change. There is no more
sudden-victory, or golden goal play. At the tournament director’s
discretion, the format of the game can be changed to skip the
overtimes and go directly to shootout. Reasons for this could
include daylight, safety, and weather.

There are 2 brackets. The top two teams (by points) of each bracket
will advance to the semifinals on Sunday November 11.

If there is a rainout during a tournament day, the schedule will
be pushed back to the next week.

The FIRST and SECOND PLACE TEAMs will advance to the AREA TOURNAMENT,
held on November 17/18. There will be a mandatory coach meeting
(time/date to be determined) the week before.
