How to register as a volunteer

All AYSO volunteers who interact with players or other minors are required to register as volunteers each membership year (August–July). 

The procedure is as follows:

Create or update your Volunteer Application Form

  • Go to www.eayso.org.
  • If you are a new volunteer, follow the prompts to register yourself.
  • If you are a returning volunteer, update your personal information as needed.
  • Using the menus within www.eayso.org, print out ONE copy of your volunteer application. (Making screenshots or making printouts using your browser's print function is not acceptable.)

Submit your forms

  • If you are 18 or older, bring your copy to a course or event or as otherwise instructed by staff in your discipline. A photo ID is required. To repeat: Volunteer applications for those 18 or older must be submitted in person with a photo ID.
  • If you are younger than 18, assure that you and your parent or guardian have signed the forms. Then bring your copy to a course or event or as otherwise instructed by staff in your discipline. A photo ID is not required. Alternately, the signed form may be mailed to Davis AYSO. See the address here.

Safe Haven course also required

All volunteers are required to take the Safe Haven course, a one-time requirement. See the Safe Haven training page for details.
