AYSO is the largest youth sports organization in Davis, and it takes a large number of volunteers to run our program. We have all kinds of jobs, and there is definitely one that will fit your schedule and interest. Some jobs are year-round, some just for one season. Some jobs can be done during the week, some during the weekend. There is something for everyone! If you don’t know how to do the job, we’ll train you!

Please read over this job list. We are describing general categories of jobs for the most part. Most of these jobs should be performed by a committee, with one or two coordinators and a number of helpers. The more people involved the less time any individual has to spend on the job.

Check one or more activities that you would like to help us with. Give us your name, phone number, and email address, and we’ll contact you. If you are not sure what a particular job entails, contact the AYSO Commissioner at 979-1344 or by email at for more information. The descriptions here are very brief and incomplete.

Volunteer Application Instructions...

All Volunteers (who will be working around the kids) in AYSO are required to fill out a Volunteer Application Form once a year, using the online system, www.eayso.org. Please follow the same guidelines for a Coach or Referee.

Below are the steps for filling out a Volunteer Application Form:

  1. Use the online registration system, by logging into www.eayso.org. For first time users, please follow the instructions if you have not logged into this system before. For returning users, if you find you do not remember your password, you can email and they will issue you a new password to use temporarily to login.
  2. After successful login, click on VOLUNTEER and follow the instructions. If you are a returning Volunteer and have used eAYSO before, you can click on your name to continue the process and update any necessary information.
  3. When ready to PRINT, be sure to print 2 copies of your Volunteer Application Form, then sign both copies.
  4. When submitting your Volunteer Application Form, have a pictured ID ready to show (preferrably a Drivers License). These can be turned at either a Safe Haven Clinic, a Referee Clinic (if a volunteer Referee), a Coaching Clinic (if a volunteer Coach), or at one of the General Coaches Meetings (all volunteers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please remember to have 2 signed copies of your Volunteer Application Form before submitting to AYSO.

More information will be posted soon as we near the regional tournament (U12+) and mini-round-robin for U10s.

Remember, it's for the kids!
