Congratulations to Your 2025 Lily Nisen Scholarship Recipients!
We’re proud to announce Marie Candelo and Jordan Wagner as this year’s Lily Nisen Memorial Scholarship recipients! These graduating seniors from Davis Senior High School exemplify excellence, sportsmanship, and positivity—qualities that honor Lily Nisen’s legacy.
Thanks to the generosity of 30 community donors and Davis AYSO’s matching contributions, we’re able to support these outstanding student-athletes as they take their next steps. Lily, a 2003 Davis grad and longtime AYSO player, continues to inspire through this scholarship.
Shout-out to Felix: AYSO National Referee!
A huge congratulations to Felix Fuglei, who became an AYSO National Referee just one day after his 18th birthday! Earning the National Referee badge is a remarkable achievement, requiring advanced officiating skills, fitness, and dedication to AYSO’s philosophy. Felix’s leadership on the field is an inspiration to us all!
Andrew Yao (Advanced Referee), JP Stefani (Intermediate Referee), Easton Welever (Intermediate Referee), and Ryan Sandler (Advanced Referee) also recently completed their certification upgrades. Congratulations crews!
