What is AYSO Alliance?

What Is It?
Alliance Soccer is designed for players who want to continue playing in a competitive environment beyond the regular Fall season. Teams play from December through May, participating in 8-10 league games and 2-4 tournaments.

Who Can Play?
Players in divisions 9U (2017) -16U (2010) who are not currently associated with a competitive soccer club.

How Does Selection to a Team Work?
Coaches will observe players during Fall games and Preview Days before holding a draft to build balanced teams. Not all applicants can be placed on a team, but we strive to offer this opportunity to as many players as possible. If your player was not enrolled in our Fall season it is important the player attend the tryout day to be evaluated. If your player did play in Fall attending Preview Day is still highly encouraged.

What is the Commitment?
Alliance players and families make soccer at least even as priority number 1 with their other extracurricular activities. Weekend travel (including Sunday's) is expected. Teams will practice twice per week at a day/time decided by the coach. Teams are together from December to May-- not all weekends in this time frame will have a game but many will.

How Do I Sign Up?
Registration opens in September. No fee to sign up initially; fees are charged only if placed on a team. Estimated costs include:

What is the cost? In 2025/2026 $650 - Alliance fees now include 3 tournaments, rented lit fields during the winter months, league and referee cost, and other administrative expenses. Scholarships for these registration fees are available in addition to a 6 month payment plan option. Additional expenses families can expect that are not covered by scholarship are: uniform ($70), travel expenses to games, and hotel stays at up to 2 tournaments. AYSO Is committed to ensuring the registration fee is not a barrier to playing if your child is selected. Families do need to be prepared for travel to away games and paying for tournaments and uniforms.

League Options

Coaches can choose from 1-2 leagues, including at least one outdoor league for 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 games, and participate in at least 2 tournaments in addition to Davis World Cup. Parent input is encouraged at the beginning of the season. Teams will play from January - May.
