Intermediate, Advanced and National Upgrade Courses
Intermediate Referee
In this course, we review the basics, such as restarts and stopping play, and build on more advanced skills, such as foul recognition, calling offside, communicating with your referee team, and getting the best behavior from coaches and spectators. In short, the class will help you become a more skillful and confident referee!
The Intermediate Referee Course is divided into 3 sessions*:
1) Monday Jan 27, 6-10 PM - Topics: Understanding more challenging games, The Referee team and Diagonal system of control, Offenses
2) Thursday Jan 30, 6-10 PM - Topics: Interactions with Coaches and Spectators, Misconduct, Offside
3) Sunday February 2, 10 AM - 2 PM - Activities: Field session, Review, Exam
*You must attend all 3 sessions to pass the class.

Follow this navigation path: Go to your Regional AYSO website > (click on) Login > Sports Connect > Volunteer > AYSOU > LMS Level Learner > Training Event.
Into the Courses text box, type "Intermediate Referee - Full In-Person Course", go to January 2025 in the calendar, select the course, and click on "Enroll".
