Kick off your Spring with Soccer!
Registration for Davis AYSO's Youth Spring 2025 5v5 Soccer Season is here, offering a fun and supportive environment for kids ages 4 to 18. Whether your child is new to soccer, has some experience, or is a seasoned player, this season has somethingfor everyone! Stay tuned for details on our spring adult soccer season.
Why Spring 5v5 Soccer? Fast paced games, community centered soccer where Everyone Plays, and the commitment is just 3 hours per week maximum (none on the weekends!)
- New to soccer? Learn the game with simple rules.
- Played before? Get more ball touches and score more goals.
- Experienced player? Hone your technical skills and commit to working your non-dominant foot!
Season Details:
- Registration Closes: February 15, 2025
- Season Dates: March 31 – May 16, 2025
- Games: On 7 Friday evenings (first game on April 4)
- Practice: 1 weekday practice (time slots 4–6 PM)
Divisions & Costs:
- Co-ed Schoolyard: $77.75 (age 4 by March 31, 2025)
- 6U–19U Divisions: $152.75 (ages 5–18)
Notes:
- Gendered divisions will be formed if possible but require 48 players per group—invite friends to join! If gendered divisions are not possible an age group will be combined into a co-ed division.
- Returning players from Fall receive a $25 discount!
- Scholarships are available; AYSO ensures anyone who wants to play soccer can do so without financial burden.
- 6U-8U divisions will play 4v4. Schoolyard is once per week.
How Teams Are Formed:
In order of priority,
Balanced skill levels across teams (equal and fun games)
Alignment with your possible practice days
Proximity to your home for practice locations (to limit travel when possible)
While we’ll do our best to balance teams in addition to accommodating preferred practice days, the final schedule will be determined by volunteer coaches. If you'd like to ensure a practice day/time that works perfectly for you, consider volunteering as a coach—we’d love to have you! With all the above factors to consider in forming teams, friend or coach requests will not be considered.
