Fall Tournament Dates

2022 Fall Tournament Dates and the 10U Jamboree

10U Jamboree

The 10U Jamboree is a fun rapid-fire round robin of 3 short games (or 4 in one case) against teams that are similar in ability to your team. Each game is 20 minutes long (two 10-minute halves) and there is a five minute break between halves. All 10U Rules apply, except that there are only substitutions at halftime (no "quarter break" subs). All players should play 4 of 6 halves unless it is not mathematically possible to do so given team size.

All 10U Girls Games will be Held at Community Park Fields 2 and 3, behind North Davis Elementary.
All 10U Boys games will be held at Walnut Fields 1, 2, and 3.

SCHEDULE

12U Regional Tournament--Group Play: Nov 5/6 and Semifinals/Finals: Nov 12

Tournament SCHEDULE and RULES are found here. LIVE UPDATED RESULTS ARE HERE

The 12U Regional Tournament will consist of Group play on November 5 and 6. Each team will play three games against other 12U Davis teams.

Teams advancing to the Semifinals will play two games on November 12th.

Bracket winners and seeding will be determined using a 10-point scoring system as follows:

  • 6      points for a win
  • 3      points for a tie
  • 1      point for each goal, up to a maximum of 3 per game
  • 1      point for a shutout
  • -2    points for each send off of a player or coach
  • -1    point for an accumulation of three cautions by a team within one game
  • -1    point for each additional caution after three cautions by a team within one game
  • -1    point for blow-outs with goal differential greater than 5 goals. Additional points may be deducted for larger differentials at the discretion         of the tournament director.

After the preliminary rounds are completed, the points will be used to determine which teams advance to the elimination rounds. If teams have not played an equal number of games due to unequal bracket sizes, average points per game will be used to determine seeding or advancement. If there is a tie in total points, the following tie breakers will be used in the following order:

  1. Head to head competition
  2. Fewest goals scored against
  3. Fewest points for send offs and cautions received: two points for each send-off, one point for each caution
  4. Subtracting goals against from goals scored, to a maximum of 3 points per game
  5. Coin toss conducted by the Tournament Director or appointee. (Note: If a three-way tie occurs, then a coin will be tossed on behalf of each team tied. The odd or different coin will be deemed to be the winner.)
12UB: The winner of each of three brackets will advance to the semifinals along with the 2nd place finisher with the highest point total.
12UG: The winner and second place team in each bracket will advance to the semifinals.
