Volunteer opportunities
Davis AYSO is an all volunteer organization. It takes hundreds of volunteer coaches and referees to put on our seasons. Can't be a coach or referee? Many other volunteer opportunities are available and critical to making our organization run.
Opportunities are awaiting you!
AYSO is the largest youth sports organization in Davis, and it takes a large number of volunteers to run our program to support over 2,000 players. We have all kinds of jobs, and there is definitely one that will fit your schedule and interest. Some jobs are year-round, some just for one season. Some jobs can be done during the week, some during the weekend. There is something for everyone! If you don’t know how to do the job, we’ll train you! Please read over this job list. We are describing general categories of jobs for the most part. Most of these jobs should be performed by a committee, with one or two coordinators and a number of helpers. The more people involved the less time any individual has to spend on the job.
If you would like to volunteer for a job described below, send us your name, phone number, and email address to
[email protected], and we’ll contact you. If you are not sure what a particular job entails, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at
[email protected] for more information.
Major volunteer jobs
Coaches, assistant coaches, referees and team parents are the backbone of our organization. We need new coaches, referees and team parents every season. We cannot have games without them. We realize that most new volunteers have little to no experience related to soccer so we provide great training to get you started.
